WoW’s 16th Anniversary started early: Grind now

A couple of weeks ago I checked the in-game calendar and Wowhead to find out when WoW’s 16th Anniversary would be. At the time it was listed as November 16-30. Now it’s changed from November 1-22. Yes, it’s going now.

WoW’s Anniversary takes place in November and runs for two weeks with varying dates each year. In 2020 it runs from November 1 to November 22, earlier than in previous years and a week longer.

Hallow’s End 10% Reputation Bonus 2020

Bored waiting for Shadowlands to drop? Now is the perfect time to finish your Insane in the Membrane grind with a 10% reputation bonus for the next three weeks.

Bored waiting for Shadowlands to drop? Now is the perfect time to finish your Insane in the Membrane grind with a 10% reputation bonus for the next three weeks.

The Hallow’s End holiday runs two weeks from October 18 to November 1 each year. And on the 1st it will overlap for a few hours with the Darkmoon Faire, allowing for a stacked 20% reputation gain for up to 11 hours.

Alliance players should visit the Wickerman outside the front gates of Stormwind and right-click on the bonfire in front of it to receive [Spell #95987], granting a 10% bonus to reputation for two hours.

Horde players should visit the Wickerman in the Ruins of Lordaeron in Undercity and right-click on the ashes on the ground near it to receive [Spell #24705], granting a 10% bonus to reputation for two hours. To access the Wickerman in the Ruins of Lordaeron, you need to talk to Zidormi on the road east of Undercity to travel back in time. The portal to Undercity in Orgrimmar, where the zeppelin used to be, will take you directly to Zidormi.

A Wickerman is also available in both factions’ Draenor garrisons at level 3.

The Wickerman only grants its buffs if it is burning. If the opposite faction has put it out, someone in your faction must relight it by right-clicking on the bonfire in front of it.

Blizzard API changes break Insane progress tracker

Recent changes to the Blizzard game data APIs removed achievement criteria information I was relying on to track progress on Insane in the Membrane for players. The changes also broke code I was using to let users login, and to display spell, quest and other game data.

Achievement unlocked: 100 Exalted Reputations

It’s harder than it sounds at first glance to achieve 100 exalted reputations. Wowhead data indicates that only 2% of profiles have achieved it.

I’m now one of the very few people in all of Azeroth to have achieved , an achievement added in Patch 8.0, and quite difficult to achieve.
